Configuration of a GL·iNet Router

1st Step

Set up the router according to the instructions.

2nd Step

Set up the router as a cable router according to the instructions. Connect the other side of the cable to the left socket in the wall. Leave the settings as given, i.e. WAN port as WAN port and Protocol as DHCP.

3rd Step

Set up the router's WiFi according to the instructions. It is recommended to choose a secure password that is as long as possible and to reduce the transmission power so that your own room is just covered. This prevents interference with your neighbors and reduces the likelihood that someone will hack in.
